Applications, features, properties and benefits
FUMAX® Type G1 is an elastic tape made from polyolefin rubber and water-swellable resin
Self-swelling when exposed to water
Seals due to volume increase/swelling pressure
Source start delay
The swelling process is reversible when the tape dries
Can also be used in joints with a high flow rate at first
Excellent mechanical properties of the swollen tape
Very good chemical resistance
Good suitability in precast concrete
Suitable for in-situ concrete and precast joints

The subsurface must be level and free from dirt, grease, oil, loose components and standing water
If possible, lay FUMAX® in the middle of the construction joint (minimum edge distance 8 cm).
No overlaps - the source tape is butted
Secure with washers and bolts
Bolt distance according to DBV 15 cm
