The EM 0-0.4 E1 expansive mortar is used to seal clamping points and for mortaring cavity wall joints. It has a very high adhesive strength. The mortar does not shrink but retains its volume and does not break away during hardening. It is pressed into the holes or joints using mortar presses. The fine grain size ensures that the surface can be removed smoothly. The mortar can also be pumped and installed using a suitable pump.
